Report a Network or Application Problem

Students, faculty, and staff experiencing network or application issues should check Network Status for the current status of the problematic application/network. If the status page lists the status as "Operational", please report the outage/issue accordingly. After the problem has been reported, monitor the status page for updates.

AidLink is our secure Web-based, self-service system. AidLink allows you to keep informed about your financial aid and SDSU scholarship application and award process.

The PAC

The Library Catalog (the PAC) is a searchable database containing information about the majority of the library's circulating holdings. Use it to discover what books, media, and other materials the library has available for your use.
If the PAC is down:

San Diego Circuit

The San Diego Circuit is a service designed to allow library users from participating libraries to quickly borrow books from other San Diego Circuit libraries if the books are not owned by their home library or if their library's copy is already checked-out.
If San Diego Circuit is down:

  • Call (619) 594-6753 (Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm)
  • Call (619) 594-6793 (after hours or weekends)

Wireless

Report a wireless outage using Report a Problem.

Microsoft Office 365 (O365) applications: OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Sway or Forms.

Academic Affairs and Enrollment Services utilizes OnBase for Academic Transaction Forms, Transcript processing and document workflow management.
If OnBase is down:

The University’s financial and procurement ERP system. 
If Oracle Financials are down:

The University's HR system of record for entering and tracking faculty and staff data on employment, benefits, and payroll.

SharePoint is our system used for business-related content only.
If SharePoint is down:

SIMS/R is a secure student database which requires authorization to use.
If you can not access SIMS/R screens:

  • Go to Office of the Registrar to report a SIMS/R problem (Monday to Friday 9 am to 4 pm).

Campus Telephone System

San Diego State University has its own telephone system, providing service to the campus community. Telecommunications and Network Services do not handle pay phones or cellular service.

Solidus

Solidus is an Automated Call Distribution System used by departments to queue and route incoming calls.
To report Solidus problems:

SDSU Web Directory is an online tool for searching faculty and staff by name, building & room, department, extension, email address, fax number, and mail code.
