What is FastX XWin32?
FastX displays your remote Linux desktops faster than regular X Windows emulator, especially over Internet connections. It is an easy-to-use client-server based X11 emulator. FastX offers productive user experience over long distance and low bandwidth connections. FastX connections are persistent, you can reconnect to your session after a network failure or unplanned reboot of your workstation. Users can also suspend their sessions, disconnect their PC and resume the session at a later time from any device. X-Win32 is a program that allows a user to use X_Windowing in a Windows environment.

Faculty, Staff, & Students: X-Win32 is licensed for SDSU users on SDSU computers, Foundation computers, or a personal computer. This software is for individual use only and not to be shared. Users may download X-Win32 with valid SDSUid credentials.
