Description: SDSU launched a cloud-based curriculum management system with Acalog, offering a unified, user-friendly online catalog for undergraduate, graduate, and SDSU Imperial Valley courses. This integration marked a shift from separate print/PDF formats to a single online resource. Moreover, the introduction of Curriculog, a sophisticated workflow and approval-tracking platform, replaced CurricUNET. This enhanced the efficiency of course and program proposals and reviews across various levels, in line with the April 2019 University Senate-Approved Action Item.

Description: The IT Security Office, Endpoint Management Project Team, and Endpoint Security Working Group at SDSU have transitioned all campus devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, state, and auxiliary devices, to cloud-based security and management systems. This upgrade allows administrators to effectively manage and secure these devices, regardless of their location, whether on campus or remote.

Description: For Fall 2021's return to in-person instruction, SDSU's Flexible Course Design Institute (Flex-CDI) provides tailored learning experiences for faculty. This includes a 20-hour course for new and a 10-hour refresher for returning participants, integrating lessons from a year of online and hybrid teaching. The institute enhances faculty skills in technology-rich pedagogy, catering to various teaching formats, whether face-to-face, hybrid, or virtual, ensuring effective and innovative instruction methods.

Description: SDSU's Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) enhances security by requiring both your credentials and a device you own for verification. This effectively blocks unauthorized access, safeguarding even if your password is compromised. The university selected Duo as its MFA provider and initially implemented it in Google Workspace for faculty, staff, and students. Gradually, more campus applications incorporated MFA, ensuring robust protection of SDSU's information.

Description: The Adobe AzTech Alliance (A3) initiative promotes the use of Creative Cloud tools among SDSU students, faculty, and staff. Adobe Creative Cloud is a collection of 20+ desktop and mobile apps and services for photography, design, video, web, user experience, and more. Through the use of the Creative Cloud, A3 endeavors to develop a technical and pedagogical plan to teach creative digital communication and literacy skills to help our students gain an edge in the highly competitive modern workplace.

Description: The SPOT course serves as a guided course design experience that allows participants to work through content on an as-needed basis relevant to what stage they are in, to design, redesign, or simply refresh their online or hybrid courses. Modules to be completed are determined based on an initial survey and, for those with already developed online courses, a course self-review. Participants will meet with an ITS coach for a consultation, at which time recommendations are made for modules to work on and course improvements to strive for.

Description: SDSU's WiFi network is essential for students, staff, and faculty to access various campus services. With over 4100 access points, it offers comprehensive coverage in all buildings, residences, and select outdoor areas. The IT Division enhanced this service by upgrading access points, including a mix of WiFi-5 and WiFi-6, and replaced older models. Key focus areas included classrooms and outdoor spaces, with major upgrades completed in Summer 2021 to ensure robust and reliable campus connectivity.

ZoomCorps, comprising over 50 staff members from various campus units, specializes in supporting their respective areas with Zoom expertise. This ensures every unit has a dedicated expert proficient in utilizing Zoom for significant webinars.
