Data, Reporting, and Analytics

  • Analytical Studies & Institutional Research (ASIR): ASIR's Student Success Exploration & Analytics dashboards (SSEA) provide departments with aggregate data intended to facilitate data-informed decision making. SSEA content is organized and delivered in four broad categories: Enrollment, Progress & Persistence, Course Metrics, and Graduation Metrics.

Financial and Procurement Systems

  • Adaptive Insights: Enterprise performance management software. SDSU’s license includes the Budgeting and Reporting modules.

  • Oracle eBusiness Suite: SDSU utilizes Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and WebCenter imaging for the University’s procurement and fiscal operations. The following modules are in use: Payables, Payments, and iExpense; iProcurement and Purchasing; Fixed Assets and iAssets; Receivables; Cash Management; Web ADI, General Ledger, and Reporting.

Human Resource Systems

  • Oracle PeopleSoft: The University's HR system of record for entering and tracking faculty and staff data on employment, benefits, and payroll. It also offers limited self-service functionality for employees to maintain contact information as well as entering absence management data and benefit elections (annually).

Library Systems

  • InterLibrary Loan (ILLiad): An electronic system used to request library items through Interlibrary Loan.
  • OneSearch: Searches eight million items in the Library Catalog, two hundred article databases, and twenty three CSU campuses, and can also deliver items straight to SDSU.
  • San Diego Circuit: A book search that allows library users from participating libraries to borrow books from other San Diego libraries if the books are not owned by their home library or if their library's copy is already checked-out.
  • SDSU Library Digital Collections: The SDSU Library Digital Collections Program digitizes and makes available unique and important collections to support teaching and research.

Medical and Health Systems

  • Medicat HER (Electronic Health Records): Medicat is a HIPAA compliant patient health management system used by Student Health Services to manage all aspects of patient encounters.  Medicat contains a suite of integrated modules that include the electronic health records system, a practice management system, an immunization compliance manager, and a patient portal.
