SDSURF EmpCenter

EmpCenter is a web-based time & attendance reporting system for SDSU Research Foundation employees that automates and standardizes the time collection and approval processes.

SDSURF Employee Gateway System

Employee Gateway is a self-service application for SDSU Research Foundation employees to view and print records from the Human Resources database using Web technology.

SDSURF iCIMS Talent Platform

iCIMS is an applicant tracking/onboarding system for SDSU Research Foundation. It allows candidates to apply for jobs online and be onboarded electronically.

SDSURF InfoEd

InfoEd is an enterprise class Electronic Research Administration software suite. The SDSU Research Foundation has implemented the following modules:

Sponsored Program Information Network (SPIN)

This module grants the user access to a comprehensive database of proposal opportunities.  Among other features it allow the users to match keywords against the database which will generate emails when proposal opportunities containing those keywords are published.

Proposal Development

This module allow the user to create proposals, route proposals for approval and, if the proposal sponsor is a Federal Agency, electronically submit the proposal.

Human Subjects

This module manages IRB functions for the University.

SDSURF PI Profile

PI Profile is SDSU Research Foundation's secured financial web-based application created to assist SDSU principal investigators and project staff with the management of their research foundation-administered accounts. It provides current data on all proposals and awards and access to functionality needed for the management of grants and contracts.

Electronic document-management services.

Lexmark Content

The Center for Human Resources utilizes Lexmark's 'Content' offering for document management and imaging with workflow. All HR related forms are categorized, workflowed, and stored for easy retrieval and viewing in Content. 

OnBase

Academic Affairs and Enrollment Services utilizes OnBase for Academic Transaction Forms, Transcript processing and document workflow management. 

Oracle WebCenter

Document management and imaging solution used by SDSU Accounts Payable for invoice processing. All invoices from vendors and university personnel are imaged and workflowed for approval to pay. Send invoices to [email protected] for ingestion into the system.

Oracle eBusiness Suite

SDSU utilizes Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and WebCenter imaging for the University’s procurement and fiscal operations. The following modules are in use: Payables, Payments, and iExpense; iProcurement and Purchasing; Fixed Assets and iAssets; Receivables; Cash Management; Web ADI, General Ledger, and Reporting.

Oracle PeopleSoft

The University's HR system of record for entering and tracking faculty and staff data on employment, benefits, and payroll. It also offers limited self-service functionality for employees to maintain contact information as well as entering absence management data and benefit elections (annually).

Services for library systems that provide access to local and remote information in support of teaching, learning, and research. Includes acquisitions, catalog, circulation, serials, a public user interface, interlibrary loan, discovery tools, etc.

InterLibrary Loan (ILLiad)

An electronic system used to request library items through Interlibrary Loan.

OneSearch

Searches eight million items in the Library Catalog, two hundred article databases, and twenty three CSU campuses, and can also deliver items straight to SDSU.

San Diego Circuit

A book search that allows library users from participating libraries to borrow books from other San Diego libraries if the books are not owned by their home library or if their library's copy is already checked-out.

SDSU Library Digital Collections

The SDSU Library Digital Collections Program digitizes and makes available unique and important collections to support teaching and research.

Services that support clinical processes, including health-record management, pharmaceutical data, medical appointment scheduling, residency placements, and more.

Medicat HER (Electronic Health Records)

Medicat is a HIPAA compliant patient health management system used by Student Health Services to manage all aspects of patient encounters.  Medicat contains a suite of integrated modules that include the electronic health records system, a practice management system, an immunization compliance manager, and a patient portal.

Business intelligence platforms, data warehouse, dashboards, analytic tools, transactional reporting, and operational data stores.

Student Success Exploration & Analytics (SSEA)

The Student Success Exploration & Analytics dashboards (SSEA) provide departments with aggregate data intended to facilitate data-informed decision making. SSEA content is organized and delivered in four broad categories: Enrollment, Progress & Persistence, Course Metrics, and Graduation Metrics.
