Microsoft Copilot provides access to advanced generative AI with text, voice, and image capabilities and is available to SDSU students, faculty, and staff. Copilot can be accessed from any web browser and newer versions of Windows 11.
SDSU's Microsoft licensing includes Copilot commercial data protection. Commercial data protection ensures user and organizational data are protected.

Google Gemini is a generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) assistant that uses machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) to provide humanlike responses to text, image, and audio prompts. It can perform various tasks, including answering questions, summarizing text, writing code, translating, and creating images.
Google Gemini can also help with productivity and creativity, such as brainstorming, learning, and finding information. SDSU’s Google Gemini licensing includes added data protection.

Adobe Firefly is available to SDSU through its Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. Firefly provides generative AI features across Adobe's creative apps. With the Adobe Firefly web app, you can create AI-generated images based on your own prompts.
