End-Point Computing

Services that enable community members to do their day-to-day work, including providing access to enterprise services. Includes network access, user file storage, end-point computing backup solutions, desktop virtualization, computer labs, and printing.

Provisioning of access to networks, ensuring security and appropriate authentication.

Network Services

Provides wired and wireless data services to the university. Network Services manages data communications, Internet connectivity for faculty, staff and students, network resources for wireless access campus-wide. 

Voice Communications

Supports network access by processing voice and data work orders from college/department Telecom/Datacom Coordinators. 

Information Technology Security Office (ITSO)

Provides San Diego State University the resources necessary to enable confidentiality, integrity, and availability of computing and information assets.

Support for all types of end-point devices and associated operating and application software.

Central Management and Reporting

Servers / desktop inventory, anti-virus and software management of operating systems and applications.

Active Directory/Azure Active Directory

All campus computers and applications are authenticated against one central directory.

JAMF Pro Cloud

A comprehensive management system for Apple macOS computers and iOS devices. (Desktop, Mobile Devices, etc.) 

Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM)

A comprehensive management system for Windows computers (Desktop, Mobile Devices, etc.) 

Copy, scan, fax, and printing services, including applications for managing these services, such as print quota systems. 

GoPrint Paid Printing

The GoPrint campus paid printing system is hosted and supported by the SDSU Library. Campus computer lab managers may view support information and installation guides for assistance.

Logistical Services

Manages the SDSU copier program. Services include copy, scan fax and printing services, including applications for managing these services, such as print quota systems. In addition to copiers, Business Services also offers a full-service Reprographics department.

Distribution of software and licenses via media, online methods, and license servers.

Desktop Software (Faculty & Staff)

Distribution for Campus Licensed Software including Adobe Work at Home, EndNote, SPSS, SAS, Minitab, McAfee, Snagit, Camtasia, X-Win32, Adobe Sign, Zoom.

Software Distribution

Software available on EDORAS for students, faculty, and staff with an SDSUid or SDSU credentials. (EndNote, Matlab, McAfee, Minitab, X-Win32).
