Getting Started

Faculty, staff, and students are required to use Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to access Google Workspace in order to protect personal identity and intellectual property, and to enhance security. Learn more by visiting the Getting Started with Duo webpage.

In accordance with SDSU senate policy students shall be responsible for checking their official email address in order to stay current with university communications. Students shall be expected to check their official email at least once per day during the academic term, as well as once per week during the three-week periods preceding and following the academic term. Simply go to Gmail and you will be redirected to the Microsoft portal to login with your SDSUid.

Once you've logged in, visit the Google Workspace Quick Start for tips to get started.

Note: If you have already logged in to an application using Single Sign-On (SSO), you may not need to re-enter your SDSUid and password.
