Microsoft 365
Faculty, Staff, and Students are eligible for Microsoft 365 Education, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and additional classroom tools.
ITUS provides support for Faculty and Staff for SDSUid Single Sign-on (SSO) applications and Microsoft 365 Core Services: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The Library Computing Hub provides Student support (including M365) in their “Computers & Technology” website. Software for students is available in the Software Installs section. Another resource for student software and applications (e.g. Canvas, Webportal, etc.) is in the “Students” section of the IT Resources website.
Downloading Microsoft 365
The Microsoft 365 download is licensed for use on up to 5 personal computers (MacOS or Windows).
- Log into portal.office.com with your SDSUid
- Click on the button labeled Install apps then select Microsoft 365 apps to begin the download.

If you are not eligible for the M365 download, or if your operating system is not supported, you might qualify to use the online version that has the same core applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
