EDUCAUSE spotlighted SDSU’s Flexible Course Design Summer Institute (Flex-CDI) as an exemplar for technology use in its national 2020 Student Technology Report. Flex-CDI helped 894 faculty members enhance their skills and knowledge of teaching in the online environment.

Helina Hoyt, nursing program coordinator at SDSU Imperial Valley, and Sean Hauze, associate director for Instructional Technology Services (ITS), were honored by the American Educational Research Association (AERA) for the paper “Equitable Nursing Education Simulation through Holographic Video: Measuring Student Knowledge, Skill, and Motivation to Learn.”
