Google Shared Drive
What is Google Shared Drive?
Google Shared Drives are used for collaborative files and group storage. Files created and stored in this drive have shared ownership. Google Shared Drives are for university-related activities. With the appropriate safeguards in place, Google Drive and Shared Drives under SDSU’s Google Workspaces can be used to store sensitive data like PII, PL1, and HIPAA-regulated information. SDSU faculty and researchers can submit a request to add a Google Shared Drive through ServiceNow.
