What is Globus?
Globus is software-as-a-service for research data management, used by hundreds of research institutions and HPC facilities worldwide for secure, reliable file transfer, sharing and publication. Researchers at hundreds of universities, national labs, government facilities, and other research institutions use Globus routinely as they work with data due to the flexibility and ease of use of the tool.

How Do I Get It?
SDSU accounts are licensed for Globus Connect with access to S3 and Google Drive connectors, as well as the High Assurance BAA (Business Associate Agreement) license to support the secure transfer of PHI and other sensitive data.
